The Subscribe option is automatically selected for you, as it offers the best price, currently 20% off, while the One-Time Purchase option is listed just below it.

At checkout, if you have a subscription in your cart, there's a box that must be checked to acknowledge you're aware you're placing a recurring, automatic shipment order. You should have received a confirmation email with your order details to review, as well as a reminder email before your subscription renewed.
