What diet did Amy follow to help with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) during her pregnancies?Updated 2 months ago

Amy followed a strict diet that significantly helped with her Hyperemesis Gravidarum symptoms. She focused on consuming only grass-fed beef, chicken, and eggs, while limiting fruits and vegetables to avoid sugar and starches. She also cut out soy, dairy, gluten, sugar, and carbs. Although Amy is always mindful of her diet, she specifically started this regimen as soon as she learned she was pregnant each time.

To cope with the difficulty of eating, Amy paired high-protein and high-calorie foods to ensure she was still getting the nutrition she needed. Smoothies became a favorite, as they allowed her to pack in extra nutrients when eating solid foods was a challenge. While every woman’s experience is unique, we hope these tips can offer some helpful ideas!

Early in her pregnancies, it was tough for Amy to keep food down. To manage, she ate more frequent, smaller meals while sticking to her strict diet. She also took our
Total Monolaurin before each meal to help support her digestive health—sometimes multiple times a day.
